Of this type of Bond movie, my four favorites are 'From Russia With Love', 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', 'For Your Eyes Only' and 'Casino Royale', with the 1980 Roger Moore one being my favorite of all Bond movies. No arch-villain bent on wiping out humanity, no gigantic lair under a volcano or the sea, nor in outer space, etc. It's one of the more pared-down, streamlined Bond stories, which just happen to be my favorite type of Bond film.
